The most popular fabric patterns

Buying 245g/m²

The classic carbon pattern – diagonally offset, timelessly sporty. Also known as twill. Twill is the most chosen pattern and what most people associate with carbon.

Canvas 200gsm

Small-part, uniform grid pattern without diagonal lines. Also known as plain weave. Appears calmer and more uniform than twill.

4x4 Body (Pagani)

Diagonal zigzag pattern with alternating twill directions. Elegant, rare, and an immediate eye-catcher.

Forged carbon like with Lamborghini

Irregular pattern of pressed short fibers – also called Forged Carbon. No pattern repeats, each part is unique.

Surfaces

High gloss – mirror-smooth, maximum depth.
Matte – subtle and modern, no reflections.
Satin – light sheen, soft appearance between glossy and matte.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about carbon patterns and carbon patterning

Carbon patterns differ considerably in their weave, fiber thickness and visual effect. The twill weave creates a diagonal, deep structure and is the most popular carbon pattern in the tuning sector. The plain weave has a more technical, rigid appearance and is suitable for purist designs. In professional carbon patterning, it is important to precisely select the right pattern for the respective application. We will be happy to advise you personally and show you all available carbon patterns in practice.

The choice of the right carbon pattern depends on your vehicle's style and your personal preferences. The classic twill carbon pattern is recommended for sporty and dynamic vehicles. For purist-technical designs, plain weave is the ideal choice. If carbon parts are already installed, it is crucial to match the new carbon exactly to them. Our experts in the manufactory will help you make the perfect decision for your project.

The number in front of the „k“ in the carbon pattern indicates how many individual fibers per bundle are contained in the fabric. A 3k carbon pattern consists of 3,000 fibers per bundle and appears finer and more elegant. A 12k carbon pattern has 12,000 fibers per bundle and appears coarser and more powerful. Depending on the desired look and area of application, we select the optimum fiber thickness for your project in our carbon pattern shop. This decision has a major influence on the final appearance of your finished component.

Yes — an existing carbon part can be replaced as part of a professional refurbishment. The existing material is carefully removed, the component is re-prepared, and then laminated with the desired new carbon. We regularly carry out such refurbishments in our carbon manufacturing facility. It is important to coordinate the new carbon with any original carbon parts that may still be on the vehicle. We will honestly advise you on which option is the best technical and visual solution for your component.

Components made of carbon are extremely durable and resilient with proper care. Clean the Surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergents. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, or stiff brushes that can damage the carbon. UV protection care is especially important to protect the resin and clear coat from premature to protect against yellowing. With high-quality processing in our carbon manufactory, your carbon will remain beautiful and flawless long-term with the right care.
