Our epoxy base coat was specially developed for carbon finishing. The epoxy resin set ensures maximum adhesion between the substrate and carbon fabric and forms the perfect basis for laminate structures in the DIY and professional sector.

Why epoxy base coat for carbon?

When laminating carbon, the first layer is crucial. The epoxy base coat:

  • Ensures optimum fiber impregnation

  • Prevents subsequent delamination

  • Improves the bonding bridge

  • Intensifies the optical depth effect

Ideal for visible carbon applications.

Application - How to achieve the best results

  1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the substrate

  2. Apply epoxy base coat evenly

  3. Wait for the tack phase (sticky surface)

  4. Apply and laminate carbon fabric

The tack phase fixes the fabric securely and facilitates draping on edges and radii.
